Reverse Smokey Eye tutorial.

Reverse Smokey Eye tutorial.
What you'll need,
1, eyeshadow primer
2, a black creamy eyeliner (or whatever dark color you are going to use)
3, a black eyeshadow
4, a medium shimmery grey eyeshadow
5, a light grey eyeshadow
6, your favorite mascara

step 1, apply primer all of your lip and below the bottom lash line.
step 2, apply the grey shadow all over your lid and slightly blend into the crease.
step 3, take your black eyeliner & draw a thick line about your upper lash line. the line should get thinker as it gets to the outer corner. make a small wing at the end. this might be hard with a pencil eyeliner, but you can use tape to make it sharp.
step 4, take a blending brush and blend/smoke out the eyeliner. use the same brush and get some of the black eyeshadow and apply that onto on the black eyeliner just make sure you use a very small amount of eyeshadow. you don;t been much. when smoking out the wing, put a tiny bit of black liner into the outer crease just to give your eyes a tiny pit of depth.
step 5, take your blending brush again and use it to apply black eyeshadow under your lower lash line. don't forget to apply black eyeliner to your waterline.
step 6, apply some of the same grey eyeshadow you used in the beginning in your inner corner for highlight with an eyeshadow brush.
step 7, apply some light grey eyeshadow into the crease of your eye.
step 8, apply a good amount of black mascara on your lashes. don't forget your bottom lashes.

Back to School Series: Week before School.
1, Facial Masks,
Good Products,
1, neutrogena deep clean long-last shine control.
this stuff can be used as a cleanser or mask. i like to use it for a mask because i already have a regular face wash i use. i use this stuff about once or twice a week and my skins feels SO nice after. my skin feels smooth and looks bright and completely matte after. what i really one about this is that you can actually feel it working. like it says what it does, it deep cleans.
2, neutrogena clear pore.
this is a really good one too and can also be used as a cleanser or mask. it's really cooling on the face and when you take it off you feel really refreshed and your face feels smooth & glowy. it's also one of the cheaper facial masks.

2, Healthy Looking Hair,
1, put olive oil in your hair.
don't do this the night before because your hair won't get all the oil out of it and it'll look greasy. i recommend doing this about 2-3 days before school starts. this will make your hair sooo soft & smooth looking. i highly recommend doing this if you have really damaged, dry hair.
2, don't use heat.
this may be hard, but give your hair a break from all the heat products! it's summer so what's the point anyway? your hair isn't going to stay straight all day! after a shower you could braid it or put it back into a ponytail. just don't use heat.
3, aussie split-end protector.
i can't even begin to tell you how awesome this product is! it seriously helps protect the ends of your hair & i've even noticed it binds them together a bit. i use this after my shower in the morning. you use this product on damp hair so i put this on the ends of my hair, comb out my hair and then put in some mousse.

3, Getting in Shape,
*I'm going to put links to videos that I find helpful since it's hard to explain certain exercises (:

4, Clearing up your skin,
not only do you want your face clear, but you also want your back, shoulders & chest to clear up too.
1, neutrogena body clear body wash in pink grapefruit,
there is another one that i'm guessing is the same, but i like the grapefruit one cause it smells good (: it makes your body really smooth & it's a good idea to use it with a wash cloth or body sponge.
2, neutrogena body clear body spray,
i can't even begin to tell you how amazing this product is! my sister has pretty bad back acne so i bought this to use on her & no lies, we saw a difference the day after we used it. so go out and get this!

-Additional things,
1, drink lots of water, you want to look hydrated, right?
2, don't stay up too late, get all the sleep you need. you don't want to look tired & sluggish, right?
3, pore strips. i LOVE these. they literally get everything out of your pores! i use this on my nose since i get blackhead & stuff there & it takes everything out of it.
4, paint your nails! i hate when people don't have painted nails. i think you look so much more put together & complete with nail polish (:

Summer Reading.

Summer Reading.
Summer reading can be annoying. You end up putting it to the last minute and realize that you've wasted time on the computer when you could of finished the book in a few days! Here are a few things that can help you get focused with your reading!

♥clean your room,
normally, if i'm in my room doing something, i can't focus unless it's clean! so straighten up your room. now that your room is clean, enjoy a nice read!

♥hide your laptop!
of course there are gonna be days were you are doing a b s o l u t e l y nothing! but you're just going to hope onto the computer or laptop instead of start your summer reading. so you don't have this happen, have somebody hide your laptop in a place you'd never check to look. or have somebody use the computer while you're reading so you can't. of course you don't have to read all day! you should read, at least, half an hour.

♥write one your hand "read __ pages today"
this is a good way to remind yourself as the day goes, that you NEED to read whatever amount of pages. i think it's best to read at the end of the day because most of the distractions are gone and it's quiet in the house.

♥go to a nice quiet place outside,
take a walk with your book to a quiet park or something. it will get you away from the distractions of your computer, tv, food, family, etc. you can sit on a bench to end up reading end up reading for hours before realizing it.

♥rainy days,
rainy days are GREAT days to read. take advantage of the rainy days to read.

♥set a timer for how long you need to read,
force yourself to read a certain amount of time. most phones have a stopwatch but if yours doesn't, http://www.online-stopwatch.com/ there is also a pause button if you just absolutely need to do something else. if you are tempted to use the computer, put it on the other side of the room. hopefully it's a turn off to get up and walk all the way to the other side.

Makeup Inspired By: Effy from Skins.

Makeup Inspired By: Effy from Skins.
go ahead and do your normal face makeup. go light on the blush & bronzer but you will want to contour your face a bit.
What you'll need,
Eyeshadow base, Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer.
Matte or light shimmer white Eyeshadow
Matte or light shimmer black Eyeshadow
Teal or Electric blue eyeshadow, Freshwater by MAC.
Very fine glitter, Reflects Peal by MAC.
Creamy black eyeliner
Volumizing mascara

step 1, apply the base all over your lid & below your bottom lashes.
step 2, apply the white eyeshadow all over your lid with an eyeshadow brush.
step 3, apply a line of eyeliner from the middle of your lash line to the end getting thicker as it goes.
step 4, smoke out the line of eyeliner you just made with a smudging brush.
step 4, go ahead and also apply a thin line of liner below your bottom lashes. leave the inner part of the bottom lashes alone. don't forget to smoke the line out as well.
step 5, apply the blue eyeshadow with an eyeliner brush onto the inner part of your bottom lashes. smoke it out with a blending brush.
step 6, apply the black eyeshadow in the crease with a blending brush. try to keep the black shadow in the crease. you don't want it to go too much above.
step 7, blend, blend, blend!
step 8, dip your finger into the glitter and apply it on top of white shadow. you may use a brush if you prefer, but i feel like using your finger works better.
step 9, take a fan brush and fan away any of the shadow fall out you have. if you don't have a fan brush, you can collect the fall out by using tape or lightly dusting it away with a fluffy brush.
step 10, apply a very coats of mascara. you want your lashes full and long! if you would like, defiantly apply false lashes.

Back to School Series: Easy Hairstyles for Wet & Dry hair.
Hairstyle 1,
-best for long hair & dry hair. great for 2nd day hair.
step 1, gather all your hair up into a high ponytail. how high it is, is up to you. secure the the ponytail with a hair tie.
step 2, take sections of the ponytail and backcomb it. you don't have to go crazy with it. just backcomb it to the point were your hair looks thicker.
step 3, gather all your hair and lightly brush it looks smooth.
step 4, hold the ponytail up and then start wrapping it around the ponytail base.
step 5, secure with bobby pins. use as many as you need. i typically need about 4.
step 6, play with it a little bit until you are happy with it.
step 7, spray with hairspray & you're good to go!

Hairstyle 2,
-best for long hair or medium hair with no layers. works for wet & dry hair.
-if this is your first time doing a fishtail braid, you may want to secure all your hair in a ponytail holder and then do it. you'll get used to doing them without it later.
step 1, gather all your hair to the side. whichever side you prefer.
step 2, brush your hair so it's smooth, if it's dry you may want to spray water on it.
step 3, split your hair into 2 equal sections.
step 4, from 1 section, take a small piece of hair from the back and bring it to the front of the 2nd section. repeat this with the 2nd section. take a small piece of hair from the back of the 2nd section and bring it over to the front the of the 1st section. repeat until you reach the bottom.
step 5, secure it with a plastic elastic. i prefer using plastic elastics while braiding because they are small and don't take much room up in your hair.
step 6, spray with hairspray to hold all day.

Hairstyle 3,
-best for long hair or medium hair. really cute if you have layers & straight hair. works for wet & dry hair.
step 1, gather you hair into a ponytail. you don't have to make it tight & whether you want it high or low is up to you. secure the ponytail with a thin ponytail holder.
step 2, take a small section of hair from the top layer in the ponytail.
step 3, start wrapping the hair around the ponytail holder so it looks like your hair is holding up your ponytail. another cute idea is to braid the section of hair and the wrap it around.
step 5, secure the section of hair you wrapped around your ponytail with a bobby pin.
step 6, pull some hair out of your ponytail so it gives a more messy vibe. then spray it down with hairspray.

Hairstyle 4,
-good for long, medium & short hair lengths. also good if you have annoying side bangs you want out of your hair and works for wet & dry hair.
step 1, brush your hair out till it's smooth.
step 2, if your hair isn't already parted to the side, then do that.
step 3, take a comb and place it on your hairline about 3 inches up.
step 4, section off the hair you need by combing all the hair in the front where you braid is going to be. comb through until you hit the hair to your hair.
step 5, once you have the hair you need sectioned off, then take all the hair you don't need and pull it back into a ponytail so it's out of your way.
step 6, now take the hair you've sectioned off and start to french braid it. if you don't know of to do that, here is a video that helped me learn: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lRhfilCsk0Y
step 7, once you've finished braiding, secure the braid with an elastic for now.
step 8, now take the rest of your hair and decide whether you want to style it into a ponytail or a messy bun.
step 9, once you've decided, treat your braid like the rest of your hair but be careful not to mess it up. so just collect your hair together including the braid.
step 10, once you've done or messy bun or ponytail, secure the braid with a bobby pin so it doesn't fall out.
step 11, spray with hairspray.

Hairstyle 5,
-good for long, medium & short hair. cute for girls with highlights and works for dry, wet, curly, wavy & straight hair.
step 1, take a small amount of hair from within the inside of your hair. leave the front hair alone. you don't want to see the start of the braid but you do want to see the rest of it basically.
step 2, start braiding it, make sure it's a tight braid too. you don't want it loose.
step 3, once you've braided it, apply some hair wax to the end of the braid. this will work as a hair tie. it's a cool idea to use wax because people will wonder how you got the braid to stay without a hair tie.
step 4, you can do as many braids as you would like, but i suggest only doing about 2-3.

Hairstyle 6,
-good for long hair and works for wet and dry.
step 1, decide whether you want a high ponytail or a low one. i personally like low ones with this look.
step 2, brush the hair out in the ponytail so it's smooth.
step 3, divide your hair into 2 equal sections and just twist them together. try to make it tight cause it will relax when you tie it.
step 4, one you get to the bottom, tie it with an elastic.
step 5, spray hairspray all over your hair because you want it to stay all day.
